One count per browser per day per surface. These are browser-day counts, not verified people, and a visit counts a browser's first page load of the day, not every pageview. Completions count a quiz or game finished that day in that browser.
No names, answers, guesses or locations are collected. Game guesses are checked on the server and never stored. Finished-game scores are totals the server itself added up from verified answers (points only - your guesses are never stored); counting them started Oct 30, 2026 and is not retroactive. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control and automated checks are never counted and store no score at all.
Counting started Oct 30, 2026: quizzes + games at 1:42 PM EDT, landing homepage at 1:59 PM EDT. Nothing before that was measured, and there is no historical backfill. Tabs opened before those times count only after a refresh.
